How this service can be availed ?

If a foreginer has to stay for more than 6 months in India, he/she should visit NRI counter personally between 9.00 am to 5.00 pm on working days for getting himself/herself registered.

Requirement for availing this service:

On coming to the NRI counter, you will get the following forms:-

• Application Form - One copy.
• Challan Form - Three Copies.
• Residential Permit Form - Two Copies.
• Registration Form - Two Copies (required to be filled by you).

Fees

Registration fees is required to be deposited at State Bank of Patiala, Main Branch, Bathinda.

Fee Structure

Within 14 days of arrival - Rs.225/-.
After 14 days of arrival - Rs.1600/-.

Note: Children below 16 years are exempted from Visa Extension Fees.

You have to bring:

• Original Passport and Visa.
• One Photocopy of Passport and Visa.
• One recent passport size photograph.
